(More customer reviews)It's a powerful vacuum. It sucks dust and hair out of my carpet, crumbs too. It's small & convenient, I will probably use this more often than use a bulky vacuum.

Keep in mind that this vacuum is design for vacuuming a small area not the whole house because the sucking hole is small and it's handheld. This little machine can not last vacuuming the whole house without overheating.

I give it 4 stars because emptying the dirt cup is hell. It's bagless so you have to open it to empty. When you open it, dirt splashes everywhere. I find that all handheld vacuums are bagless. They got to think of a better way to empty it.

(More customer reviews)The main reason I wanted a cordless handheld was to clean carpeted stairs, but the suction isn't powerful enough to do a good job on this. It works `a little' if you spend a good minute or two on each step, but even the hose attachment tool on my regular upright vacuum cleaner does a MUCH better and faster job. That was a big disappointment for me.

There is no bag, so the dirt/dust collects inside and can be opened to empty out. There's also a filter that can be changed. The dirt collection area is rather small, so it seemed to fill up very quickly and the filter looked clogged after using it just a few times.

On the positive side, it is lightweight and very comfortable to hold. It's cordless so it's easy to use in places like a car or wherever you don't have access to an outlet. The charge seems to last a long time, so you don't have to keep recharging it after every use.

If you want a small, lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner for some light cleaning jobs such as picking up dust around your floor boards, vacuuming out your car or cleaning crumbs off the furniture, this would probably work fine, but are expecting to do stairs or larger cleaning tasks, you'd be better off finding another hand vac with stronger suction power and a larger dirt collection space.

(More customer reviews)This little vacuum is lite in weight, has decent suction from the base and the canister is easy to empty with a push of a button. However, those are the only good features about this vacuum. The hose has very little suction. It wouldn't even pick up small fake Christmas tree needles, which are VERY light weight. The canister design on the vacuum is horrible. The piece at the bottom of the filter fits almost to the sides of the canister and doesn't let anything through so it clogs easily and constantly. Which defeats the purpose of an easy push of a button dispenser. I am always having to empty the canister out by hand and then having to take the canister off of the vacuum to dig out what is stuck in the path to the canister since it is constantly backing up. On our main level which is about 1200 sq feet and half of it being hard floors. When vacuuming, I empty the canister by hand and dig the fuzz and dirt about 4-6 times each time I vacuum. (Usually 3 times a week) Needless to say, I spend as much time cleaning it out than I do vacuuming. I will be going back to the store to buy a Hoover!

In my whole life I've never attached a crevice tool even when I needed it just out of laziness. This just sucks up dust immediately in between anything. It doesn't hold alot of dust so after each use I just take an old dish/pot brush and brush off the filter.The dust sticks to the cloth filter and will not come off just by tapping it along side your garbage pail like the instructions say. Takes a minute and is well worth it as this is more powerful than my canister vacuum. I started to use it on a small area of my living room rug where lint always sticks at the entrance and ended up doing the whole rug and went on to other rooms. You'll love this powerful little sucker and end up writing a great review like I just did!

(More customer reviews)Got this on sale at Target for $10 (Black Friday) and it's a decent little machine. Great for vacuuming my area rug and hardwood floors. I wouldn't expect this machine to clean up a large mess. Very lightweight, easy to maneuver and much quieter than a full size vac. Nice that it also transforms into a hand vac. In one use it picked up a lot of dust and cat hair that wasn't evident. Definitely a keeper!

(More customer reviews)Well, I just got my Bissell handheld vacuum in the mail yesterday. I tried it out right away and I was immediately pleased by the weight (not too heavy), the handle configuration (on top, not on the side where handling and dexterity can get awkward) and the power of the motor and suction. I think it's pretty powerful for a small handheld vac. I really like the fact that it came with a hose and multiple attachments for tight corners and spaces. The cord is a decent length, too, although I wish they had cordless options for this model. The only real complaint I have is the powerful burst of air that shoots from the vents on each side. It's a powerful motor, so I understand that you have vent that air somehow, but it's so forceful that I notice it actually creates resistance against my leg when I hold it at my side. That gust of air can become problematic when trying to tackle a pile of dirt, but it's all about maneuvering and handling.

Other than that,I really like this thing! I put away that big, bulky vacuum I had to lug around, so that was a nice feeling. I highly recommend this for people who live in smaller units and condos and have limited storage space.
