Rubbermaid Servin Saver White Mixing Pitcher 2 Qt. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I'm glad I bought this pitcher
I think it's very nice
It fits well in the fridge's door
With quarts of juice and ice

It's nice and wide for filling
You'll never waste a drop
It holds two quarts of water
With a multi-purpose top

Kool-Aid Twist comes as a mix
A fetching shade of blue
I poured the powder in the cap
To measure for my brew

Kool-Aid first and water next
Now let the fun begin
I moved the handle up and down
to blend the powder in

Seconds later I was done
So proud of my success
I mixed two quarts of yummy drink
Without making a mess
Amanda Richards, April 25, 2008Note: The cover has three positions - open, closed, and the one with that strainer thing to hold back the ice when pouring. The only problem I foresee is that the cover fits fairly loosely, and may come off when pouring the last dregs from the pitcher. It may be advisable to keep your hand on the lid when decanting.

Somebody should've invented this ages ago! No more swirling with spoons that are too short, or risking a shaking maneuver; this pitcher has an agitator inside that can be spun with the handle to mix up powdered lemonade, fruit punches, iced tea and more.

Oxo Good Grips 3-Piece Funnel and Strainer Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)You think plastic... weak, melting... No
It is sturdy yet slightly flexible not to be easily breakable.
It handles warm to hot liquid real well as it is made with a some kind of high temperature plastic.
The best are these rubber lines that helps it sticking to the recipient into which you are pouring. No third hand needed nor worries about hot or messy spills.
A little mesh, provided with the set, can be inserted to strain the liquid which is really handy.
Storage of the Funnel set is nice as the funnels and the grid nest into each other.
What might have been nice? Maybe a slightly bigger handle for when we work with kids.
Still, a must have for every cook.

Brita 35530 Ultramax Dispenser Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had been using the smarller Britta pitcher(holds 5 glasses). That works wonderfully by the way, just too small for larger families or seriouswater drinkers. The only complaint with that was the size caused me to have to fill it constanly as I drink a lot of water. So I decided to upgrade. First I purchased the faucet mount filter and was disappointed. The thing moves slower than molassas!I returned that and was going to get a standard pitcher filter setup but decided to go with this one because it was onlyfour dollars more than a pitcher that held ten glasses of water. This provides 18 glasses of the best tasting water ever.I live in an area where our water is reputed to be among the best in the country(at least that what the local officials say) and this only improves on it!!Now I fill this up,put it on a shelf in the fridge and voila,I have great tasting ice cold water at my fingertips.I think this is much more cost effective than buying bottled water. The best part of it all?My kids have now become water drinkers!!It might be because of the easy to use tap, which by the way makes this much more convienant to use as opposed to the pitcher.Although they swear that they drink more water now because it "just tastes better".
I am, so far, very pleased with this sytem.I think it is a wise investment.
Great tasting water without the chlorine smell or taste at a great price! It doesn't get much better than that as far as I can see!!!!!!!

Think of it as water filtration for dummies. You don't even need to keep an eye on the calendar, the electronic sensor lets you know with a flashing arrow when it's time to change filters. Not to mention this system sure beats the heck out of paying for and lugging home gallon after gallon of water.
