(More customer reviews)This is the third Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Pet Fountain I have used for 3 cats.This product is not as sturdy as previous models, and cats can pull it a few inches into center of room when drinking.It is easier to clean than previous models, but feel it may not last as long.I clean the whole thing at least weekly, sometimes bi-weekly and add water every other day.The first thing to go is the pump with the last two.I clean the hair and grit out of the pump weekly, taking the whole pump apart.The pumps 'died' after about 1 and 1/2 years with previous models; the cord had exposed wires on the back of the pump when they quit working.Overall, the cats definitely drink more water with the fountain, so I keep replacing when the pumps quit working.The pump is expensive to replace and a whole new fountain is close in price to a replacement pump.
