(More customer reviews)The best 4 cup carafe I have used, Universal Carafe, is no longer available on Amazon and the Mr. Coffee replacement carafe's lid breaks very easily.
The nice thing about this carafe is that comes with two adapters to adjust the height of the lid and the price is reasonable. But the spout is badly designed, is small with no downward slant, so the coffee dribbles when you pour. You have to pour slowly and keep a paper towel underneath.
Even the stainless steel Medelco carafe has the same problem. You'd think somebody in the company would pour coffee from the decanter before putting it up for sale. Guess not. The dribbling is really messy and inconvenient.
