(More customer reviews)This is a great pump.It works really well for large swimming pools, but when an internal part broke.It is not possible to purchase replacement parts.Unfortunately, the impeller on mine broke and is not covered under warranty.The manufacturer replied very quickly to my emails, but did not answer my calls.In the emails, they stated that they do not sell just the parts and told me that I should just buy a new one.Not sure if I'm going to buy this one again, since I've only had it for a year.I just wish they sold the replacement parts, because it is a great pump.

(More customer reviews)This pump works pretty well overall. I am using it in a rock fountain with about a 3 foot climb and it moves water very well. I could actually run another feature off it if wanted.

Another positive is the long powercord.

The negative so far... the packing material was a mess as little specks of styrofoam were everywhere..including inside the unit. It actually took some time to clean up the pump from the packing materials. I understand the need for packing well for shipping, but put the pump itself inside a plastic bag or something. Spending about a half hour to an hour picking out stryo specks from the filter and pump unit isn't fun.

(More customer reviews)This pump is awsome only 130 watts for 2900 gphvs my old sunterra that sucked 550 watts 2000 gph for not much of a waterfall effect. I did upgrade the output hose to do 1 1/2 inch ID vs my old one of only 1 inch. This pump is definatly a waterfall pump, you can hear the water from quite a distance.This is delivering two to three times the output my old pump for about 1/4 the electric cost.I have a waterfall and a stream running into my pond and this pump delivers pleanty of waterto run both very effectivly.My only concern is I may have to install a valve to tame it down a touch if need be if the neighbors start complaining.

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these pumps and it workded perfectly...so much so that I recommended it to my friends and also bought 2 new pumps for my new pond. HOWEVER, there seems to be a manufacturing defect in the newer pumps because on both of my new pumps...the hose connecting the pump to the filter does not fit tightly...I connected one of the pumps in the morning and went to work and when I came home in the evening I noticed that the pump was very low...I decided to clean the filters...then I realised that the filter was no longer even connected to the pump...so I reconnected it and turned back on the pump but it still did not work any better...I then proceeded to take a better look and thats when I realised that because the hose had disconnected from the pump it was jus sucking water from the bottom of the pond and had sucked in one of my baby Kois and killed it.

I am not discouraging anyone from buying this pump but if you do make sure you put on a hose clamp or something to prevent it from killing your baby fishes.

(More customer reviews)This is a great little pump that will work in a variety of table-top fountains.I've used it in fountains that I've built, as well as used it to replace pumps in store-bought fountains.It's the perfect size and offers an adjustable water flow so that you can set it for the desired effect.The pumps are very reliable, although they sometimes gets clogged in my outdoor fountains.But it's quite easy to snap off the plastic screen and clean it out.A good choice if you build small fountains.

(More customer reviews)I bought a 20W bulb for ~2000 gallon pond. It has been running a couple of weeks and the water is clearer, but not clear. Perhaps the bulb included was not up to par. My biggest beef is that the enclosed set up diagram was completely wrong. You will need to attach a 3/4" fitting on the light housing to the 1" inside diameter of the 1 1/4" hose from a typical pond pump. You will need two sets of 3/4" to 1" nalgene fittings and two-3/4" and two-1" hose clamps.

Is algae making that pond water look a little green? This 20-watt clarifier uses ultraviolet light to kill algae and harmful bacteria for cleaner water and smoother pump operation. The light is submersible so it doesn't detract from the natural pond look, and, at the same time, its slim design tucks behind pond borders for concealed above-surface installation (with proper tubing).

(More customer reviews)This product is great, I love it. It is SO easy to use, it does not store water in the pump so it stays clean, and I could not be happier. If I had purchased it straight from the company which Amazon got it from, I would have paid $10 less, but I know that Amazon keeps my identity safe, and my credit card numbers, so I was willing to spend the extra money. The other site seems legitimate, but it does not have any security seals and so the price difference is the price of your safety. The shipping was slow, but it did make it to me on the last day it was allowed; just took a while to get it out of the warehouse. This was the best investment I have made in a while, it is now very easy to drink water, it is kind of fun, and I can take it almost anywhere because it is small compared to all of the alternatives. I could easily use this camping, it would be a luxury on a camping trip, but right now I have it in my dorm room.

I turned around and ordered the Dolphin brand pump, paying 3 times more (counting shipping).I'm happy with the Dolphin pump.The one here is clearly a knock-off from a company in China using sub-grade materials. It is very flimsy and weak, one of the sections of the lower skirt fell off and it hasn't been mounted on a bottle yet. Out of the box the silicone seal was dirty and the plastic parts were scratched as though it had been used already.The Dolphin tubes are made of durable material (I think nylon) I recognize from my camping gear.This one is I think polypropylene. Don't waste your money, buy the name-brand pump made in Korea.
