(More customer reviews)We purchased this pool from another source this summer.I should note that the 12'x36" pool does not come with all the accessories that the 12'x3' pool has.If you see both available when you buy, whether online or at your local warehouse store, be sure to get the one listed at 3 feet!It includes several things not in the 36" box such as a ladder, cover, and a couple of tools (skimming net and an attachment to clean the bottom of the pool).
We have been extremely pleased with the pool.Our yard is not *perfectly* flat, so there is a 2" variance after the water is in the pool.That said, it does not impact the fun the kids are having.As with any huge amount of water, you must take extra care to keep it clean.Invest in the proper chemicals and a testing kit and run the pump each day for a minimum of four hours.
My children are quite young, so this is the ideal size to teach them how to swim.My younger child (2) can stand in the water and it is only chest height on her (water height is about 27").I don't think it would hold much allure for a child over the age of ten.Be prepared to be in the pool with the kids a lot if they are young.Luckily with the ladder that it isn't much of an issue.
Frankly for the price, if it only lasts two years I will think we got a steal.I would recommend this to anyone who wants a pool that is good for younger kids and wants a pool that can be taken down once the summer is over.Happy swimming!
