(More customer reviews)Our 16-year old cat has recently decided that the proper time for breakfast is 4:00 a.m.He shares this conclusion with us by yowling rather loudly.As a consequence, we have had our nights cut short -- night after night.I searched the web for an automatic cat feeder and found several options.The reviews I read of them were mixed.Some purchasers loved the items they had bought; others found them to be poorly built and unreliable.It was with some apprehension that I ordered the Cat Mate C10.
It works wonderfully well.Powered by a AA battery (that, according to the directions, should last a year) it does exactly as advertised.To give it a test run, I set the timer for two hours.Two hours and two minutes later it opened.I'm amazed and delighted.So is our cat.This morning he was (a) fed and (b) quiet.Huzzah!
