(More customer reviews)Heard good things about the regular Watts water filter, so I decided to move up and get the one with the alarm. Unfortunately, the first unit I received had a small hole at the base of the spout, and a small stream of water sprayed out all over.I returned it and got a new one from Amazon 2 days later that so far, works fine.Could taste the difference in the water once installed (which was so easy I could figure it out without the instructions), and quite satisfied so far.Won't be able to report on how that alarm works for a while, but it starts at 4000, and turns off when using regular tap water and on again when using the filtered water.
Included were the diverting valve, filter wrench and batteries, but only came with one faucet adapter that worked with an outside thread and not for an inside thread.I called the company since Amazon doesn't provide parts and was told an adapter with an inside thread is not included for this model.Therefore I went to Lowe's and picked up an faucet adapter that worked for $2, so no big deal.However, I do feel I really shouldn't have to pay for a part that should be included in every water filter you connect directly to the faucet (might have rated it a 5 if not for that).
