The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that one tip of diverter valve that attaches to the faucet and diverts the water to the filter broke. I called the company and they were aware of the manufacture defect. They were very friendly and helpful. They put a whole new "diverter valve attachment" in the mail that same day.After changing out the part we have had no other problems at all after several months of substantial use.

NSF International is an independent, not-for-profit organization that develops and adopts voluntary consensus standards and testing programs for home water treatment systems. Multi-Pure filters are also certified by the state of California, which may have the strictest environmental standards in the United States.Important Note: Tighten the housing by hand.
