(More customer reviews)I have had this filter for 2 years now and love it.Never any problems from it or the filters.It overflows inside the casing where the filter is placed when the cartridge is no longer filtering water, when it is past it's life expectancy.But, they are cheaper to pick up at WalMart, the system as well.;)

This is one water filtration cartridge designed for use with pre-existing faucet mount water filtration systems. This filter is made with Microban antimicrobial product protection, a state-of-the-art technology built-in to the critical componets of this filter. Microban protection works continuously to help keep filter surfaces cleaner protected. This technology is not intended to purify drinking water, but to fight the uncontrolled growth of bacteria on the filter itself, which could adversel affect the filter life and performance. Asbestos (fibers > 10 um in length); Lead (Pb+2); Mercury (Hg+2); Particulates (0.5-< 1 um); bacteriostasis; chlorine [free (Cl0)]; cysts ; benzene; carbofuran; dinoseb; lead 6.5 pH and 8.5 pH; lindane; mercury 6.5 pH and 8.5 pH; tetrachloroethylene; turbidity.
