(More customer reviews)I really wanted to like this coffee maker.We've tried several and thought this one was the answer but unfortunately, we need to keep looking.

The problems are:

1.Coffee produced is not that hot.I expected more, especially with a pre-heated carafe.
2.As someone else noted, the carafe will pour even in the "closed" position.This indicates an air leak-- something that will chill the coffee much more quickly.
3.Pour spout is not good and a lip overhang means that the last drop is virtually impossible to get out.
4.The indicator for the timer is very hard to see.
5.The water holder, while convenient to remove, is very hard to level.And, there is a hole in the tank to prevent over filling.Unfortunately, it means clean up of spilled water.
6.The handle was crooked (not a major issue but annoying to look at on a $129 coffee maker).

Made good coffee, especially in small batches, but lots of machines will do that.Shame it had too many flaws to overcome.
