(More customer reviews)The product was advertised as a Whirlpool Corp brand water filter from a site called PureWater.It is not a Whirlpool brand, but rather a generic replacement that covers a few different models of filters.I cannot tell the level of filtration whether it will screen the smallest particles like cysts or not.Probably the reason why the price was so low.Be sure of what you are getting before you order.
