(More customer reviews)I purchased the Tersano Lotus Water Treatment System a while back and am very fond of it.I originally thought that buying a second plastic pitcher was a waste of financial resources.However, I've found the shape and design ideal.Obviously it works seamlessly with the auto-fill of the Lotus, but it also fits neatly on a refrigerator shelf, cleans well in a dishwasher, and being blue gives the reflected water a nice color (ok, that isn't important).My only complaint is the lid while easy to put on and remove sometimes doesn't let water flow smoothly.The latch gets stuck and as you increase the angle of pitcher to pour the water, it suddenly pours out too much water... and splash.This doesn't happen too often, but it does happen.
Probably the best thing about the carafe is that I've been filling and emptying mine 2+ times per day and washing weekly in a dishwasher for the past six months and so far no cracks or breakage.
