(More customer reviews)I ordered the Pentek R30-BB from one of the websites referred to from Amazon, since Amazon didn't sell them. I received the order from FreshwaterSystems in the agreed timeframe. However, when I opened the package I realized they hadn't ship what I had ordered. They sent the OmniFilter RS6 instead. After reviewing their website again I discovered this is a lesser priced filter than what I paid and is made by another manufacturer. After a long wait on the phone I spoke with their customer service representative who said he would look in the warehouse to see if they have what I ordered in stock and he would call me back. He called back after 2 hours or so and said that they did not have what I ordered in stock but they are willing to refund the difference in what I paid for the more expensive filters and the ones they sent me. I agreed to that. He went on to say that they were having website issues and that I had just stumbled across one of them.

It all worked out in the end, but it took time from my day to deal with. I was also troubled that the company/distributer did this switch without contacting me prior to shipping. They had my contact information, which included my cell number. I will not be using the company/distributer again.

I haven't had the filter long enough to have an opinion of it. The rating of stars is for the distributor, since the opinion page makes you rate something to publish. By the way, this was my first time to buy from them.
