(More customer reviews)My wife and I bought this to go with our pond kit.When we finished our pond in early June 2010, we began having severe algae problems to the point where you couldn't even see 2 inches into the water.It was suggested that we use a box filter so we purchased this one.After a month, there was no difference in the water condition.As soon as we replaced this with a UV filter canister, we saw a difference within 3 days.
